The Doveberry Inn presents our Vermont Guided Turkey Hunts. Start out your stay with a warm and comfortable room individually decorated, with great amenities queen or king beds, private baths and tv. Begin your day very early with a full hunters breakfast to get you on your way before dawn. Enjoy hunting until 12 noon. Thereafter, you will be on your own to relax, enjoy what our town has to offer, or even enjoy some great trout fishing in some nearby rivers and lakes. Did we mention, wives stay for free so if you want to hunt, she can stay behind and just enjoy the quiet to relax.

Spring and the month of May offer some of the finest Turkey hunting in Southern Vermont. There is nothing like the excitement of calling in a gobbler. Jeremy Ballantine is a native Vermonter who has grown up hunting the areas of Southern Vermont for Turkeys since a young age. He is a known guide locally and offers the ability of calling and guiding for Spring Turkeys in the region of Southern Vermont and the Southern Green Mountains.

What you need to bring;

Remember, Turkeys Have Excellent Eyesight, so head to toe camouflage is must.
12 gauge shotgun (matte finish or camouflage recommended) turkey loads,
Archery Hunts available with Max of One person per hunt
Warm clothing to layer
